Description: C103 is the most commonly used in superalloy aerospace area. For example, C-103 alloy (Nb-10Hf-1Ti-0.7Zr) was used as material of rocket nozzle for the lunar module and command module of Apollo spacecraft. The nozzle is subjected to wall temperature of 1500 degrees Celsius and a high velocity (maximum Mach 4.58) flow of combustion products.
